The team

You will be part of our dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Development team, where we are jointly responsible for generating new leads, onboarding new clients, and maintaining relationships.

What will you do?

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be the one to excite potential clients about partnering with Secret View. You will leverage your network, attend relevant events, know LinkedIn inside and out, and take the initiative to build new connections. You will dive into the challenges of our potential clients and convince them of the value we can offer.

Your goal is to introduce potential clients to our methods and research formats. To achieve this, you will explore potential clients and understand how they can derive the most value from collaborating with Secret View. You will be responsible for sales in ‘your’ country or region and report directly to the CEO.

Are you a good fit?

You’re not the stereotypical smooth-talking salesperson, but someone who can convincingly and enthusiastically convey our story to potential clients. You’re more of an advisor or consultant than a salesperson. You understand the challenges our clients face and how we are part of the solution. You are a good listener, energetic, and assertive, and you navigate digital tools with ease. It’s not a requirement, but ideally, you already have experience with B2B software products and a relevant network.

You will often engage with C-level executives of large retail and hospitality chains, and you know how to manage these interactions within the informal and relaxed culture of Secret View. The sales cycle is relatively long, between 6 and 12 months, so you have a good sense of when to be patient and when to push forward.

What skills do you need?

  • 3-5 years of experience in a B2B sales role (experience in retail is a plus)
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • An ambitious, proactive, and flexible attitude
  • Independent and self-driven
  • Strong in identifying and creating opportunities
  • Good at maintaining your network
  • Clear communication with clients and colleagues
  • Fluent in English (C1 level or higher)
