This month, the award goes to the enthusiastic team of De Pizzabakkers, who turn every visit into a real show.
Flying pizza dough
We arrive to find the pizza baker spinning his dough through the air, singing and dancing to the rhythm of "Mambo No. 5." The enthusiasm and joy felt by our mystery shopper during the visit are immediately apparent. Meanwhile, Ruben, the franchise owner of De Pizzabakkers To Go Leliegracht, and manager Raoul are sitting unsuspectingly at the bar in a meeting, until we surprise them with a large bouquet of flowers and the award. They accept the prize with excitement and enthusiasm. Now we fully understand where our mystery shopper's enthusiasm for this De Pizzabakkers location comes from: "The reception exceeded all my expectations. While a young man with a wide smile was spinning pizza dough through the air, a delivery person was capturing the scene. The atmosphere was joyful, with smiling faces and music in the background. It felt like I had landed in a show – an unforgettable experience! Despite the busyness and the many orders hanging on the wall, everything went smoothly, and I didn't have to wait long."
"The staff member who helped me with my order was very friendly, helpful, and polite. He made suggestions and recommendations that made my mouth water. The pizza I ultimately chose was generously topped, with the ingredients perfectly distributed. The best pizza I've had in ages! The dessert was also delicious. It was truly a party to order a pizza here, and I know I'll be coming back more often!"

Ruben explains that the results of the mystery shopping survey are a great way for them to reflect: "We don't see it as a control tool but as a learning tool. We are a small and close-knit team and discuss the results together. If something isn't going well, we can openly address it with each other. Everyone here has the same drive and wants the best for our guests."
