Secret View Experience of the Month Award December: Simon Lévelt Amstelveen

We hereby announce the winner of the Experience of the Month award for December: Simon Lévelt in Amstelveen! With this award, we celebrate extraordinary customer experience and hope to inspire others. Our mystery shoppers visit thousands of stores every month, and the most exceptional experiences stand a chance! The 16-year-old Kerem Jongsma received the award, recognizing his excellent service to our mystery shopper.

Exceptional customer focus

Kerem, who is in his fifth year of higher general secondary education (havo), has made a good impression at his first job at Simon Lévelt. With just one and a half years of work experience, he has well-earned this award for exceptional customer focus. Kerem said, “I am incredibly pleasantly surprised! I only work on weekends, so it's special that I was the one who helped the mystery shopper.”

Leaving the store with a smile

Our mystery shopper was full of praise for Kerem: “The store was busy, but I was still greeted kindly. The employee radiated top-notch customer friendliness, with a big smile, open attitude, and friendly demeanor. I was amazed by how much knowledge the employee had! I smelled different kinds, including the Rust Blend. He told me about the origin and delicacy, and how that affects brewing the tea. Therefore, he advised me to take the 100-gram variant because the leaves are quite large, and that influences the taste. Thanks to his knowledge and skill, I bought several other products.”

“Kudos also for how you can deal with many customers at once. I left the store with a smile on my face because I was helped so kindly and professionally, and because I was excited to try the new flavors.”

Marion Versteeg, responsible for training and education at Simon Lévelt: “As a specialty store, it is extremely important that we excel in knowledge and customer focus. That is, alongside our premium organic coffee and tea, why people come to our specialty store, and what we focus on. Fortunately, the mystery shopping research shows that our staff is doing well in terms of product knowledge and customer focus. We generally score high, and we are very proud of that.”
