Long-time Secret View mystery shoppers know that our platform has taken many forms throughout the years. From simple yet effective to the amazing piece of technology we are using today. We are continuously updating and improving with the help of our community, but this time we’ve got a huge update! So let’s start. What’s new for you mystery shoppers?

Search assignments on map

No more scrolling through the long list of available assignments, just check out Google Maps! With this new integration, it’s possible for you to search in a radius of your choosing around your house, work or whatever place you visit frequently, and look for mystery shopping assignments. Pretty handy these days if you don’t want to travel too far. So, start adding your preferred areas, fix that radius and look on the map to see what’s available for you!

My assignments

Back in the day (last week), you’d have to navigate between pages to see your applications, selections, invitations and planned assignments. A lot of clicks. Now, we’ve gathered all of this information in one page. Nice and easy to view and navigate. You’ll find all assignments that are linked to you in some way on one page as well as an overview of all the assignments you’ve ever done for us. The latter is brand new and gives you and us insight into your experience within our community.

Wallet

It’s all about the money, money, money! Well, not really. But it is very important that payments run smoothly and you know exactly what the status of every payment is. That’s why we’ve greatly improved the wallet feature in your personal profile. You’ll now see your total earnings with Secret View, the reward of each assignment and any refund requests there may be from our side.

Knowledge Center

Over the years we’ve garnered quite a bit of experience (over 50.000 mystery shopping assignments completed!). With the help of our community, our knowledge grows by the day and we love to share it with you. The Knowledge Center is a place that gives you access to all the information you need to prepare for your next mystery shopping assignments. We’re developing e-learnings on different levels that help you on your way to become a great mystery shopper. You’ll also find the answers to any questions you may have and the option to contact us if you can’t find what you need.

Algorithm

Invisible for users, but super important: the selection algorithm. To make sure our clients get the best eligible mystery shopper for each assignment, we now do manual selection for every single assignment. Very important but time-consuming work. That’s why we’re building an algorithm that advises our team about the selection of mystery shoppers. That way, our team can divert their time and attention to other matters that improve our service and our platform. The algorithm is still in an early version but will slowly become more important in our processes. To be continued!
